PROFESSIONAL TEACHING POSITIONS:

  • Jr./Sr. High School Science Teacher (Biology Certification)

Avella Area School District accepts applications for professional positions through PA-Educator.  

Part Time Special Education Aide (4 hours per day/180 days per year)

  • Must pass the Para Pro Assessment through ETS or have minimum of an Associate's Degree.
  • Must be willing to complete CPI training.
  • Must be able to walk to classrooms throughout the buildings to assist students.  
  • Must be physically able to assist with student needs.
