Athletics Football 2022

Welcome to the 2022 season. We hope that we will have another productive and competitive year.. Our goal is to provide a great learning environment where players learn the fundamentals of the game, but also are shaped into respectful children with good sportsmanship and attitudes. We are run solely by volunteers who give up a lot of their time to help us to accomplish this. Coaches, parents, and players are asked to show respect both on and off the field. We are part of the WPYFL {Wester Pennsylvania Youth Football League) At this time NO MONEY is due.  We would like to gather all necessary information before school ends for summer vacation. Please do not wait to turn in your form so that we can keep an accurate count of how many kids are interested at each level.

Football Levels
Division 3 - Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Division 2 - 3rd and 4th grade
Division 1 - 5th and 6th grade

Optional conditioning practices will begin in mid to late July. Heath acclimation practices will be held at the beginning of August during the week. You will receive updates about starting via email, text, and/or social media.  There are typically 4-5 practices a week until school begins and then each Division decides how many practices a week they will hold. Practices are typically held on school grounds, but this is subject to change due to Covid restrictions. Games are held on Saturday and occasionally on a Sunday from August until October. Times and locations of away games do not follow a set schedule.

Uniforms and Equipment

Players will receive a jersey, helmet, and all other necessary safety equipment All other parts of the uniform and equipment must be provided by the parent including spikes. We will have a uniform fitting day to provide the best possible fit for the players. This day will be announced closer to the date.

Parental Responsibility and Support
As of now we have not finalized what our volunteer requirements will be. Before the season begins we will announce what the requirements of parents will be. Once announced a $100 hold check for these hours will be collected and then returned once the requirements are fulfilled. If you do not meet your requirements your hold check will be donated to the organization. In order to have a successful season we need parent volunteers for these days! It is up to us as parents and volunteers to make sure that our children have the best possible experience possible. In order to have the season run smoothly we need lots of volunteers. Our organization holds several event style fundraisers throughout the year along with several ticket sales. These fundraisers help earn money for each of our sports. We encourage all parents who have a child playing a sport throughout the year to help out with these events as they are scheduled and announced. Follow our facebook page for updates.
